Disney’s Frozen was a game-changer in redefining what an act of true love really could be; so many Disney fairytale animated features (and subsequent Broadway musicals) depended on the princess finding her prince and true love’s first kiss. And while there’s a total side-plot component in Frozen, this wintery-wonderland-fairytale musical is all about the love of family.
August is here— and this time it’s their 27th summer season
They’ve up and relocated, no one quite knows the reason
But they crossed all their t’s and they said all their prayers
And a new home was found for the Glyndon Area Players!
That’s right— take a look, take a gander, have a lark!
They’re still in Westminster— they did not go dark!
They carried right on with their once-a-year musical

Do you remember the good years in Glyndon? The summers were endlessly gold! The gymnasium was a patchwork of set pieces and costumes; there were songs being sung wherever you’d go. It’s funny, but since the Pandemic, they’d gone to the other extreme— for two years they were dark and sad! And how we missed them oh so bad— but now they’re back! (YES!!) And telling— Joseph’s Dream! Those Glyndon days! Are here to stay!
