Today is the day you’ve been waiting for forever. Are you ready to let this be the day that something happens? Then hello, Havre de Grace, Maryland! This year— 2017— this day— in the month of October— is going to be the day where everything you’ve ever waited for finally happens! Making its national community theatre debut, Tuck Everlasting, the musical, soars superbly into the main stage of The Historic Havre de Grace Opera House as the inaugural production of Scottfield Theatre Company.
Just when things look bleakest— there is ever hope on the horizon! With a world that’s politically upside down, the brightest act of optimism is through the birth of new creative endeavors and what a wonderful new adventure to embark upon in this era than starting a new community theatre boldly daring to do new works, obscure works, and regional premieres of work fresh off Broadway! Harford County is pleased and proud to welcome the Scottfield Theatre Company to the area.

Crazy is underrated. Normal is an illusion. What’s normal for the spider is a calamity for the fly, and what’s crazy for normal folk is just the basic happenings of everyday life for the crazies, like the gloom and doom inside the mansion in central park. Closing out the 2015/2016 season, The Children’s Playhouse of Maryland delivers a creepy and kooky performance, with all of the iconic Charles Addams’ characters alive in their shades of gray on the lecture hall stage in The Addams Family musical.
